Life after Starbucks 2

Oh yeah, there are a couple of other alternative coffee places I forgot to mention but are totally worth mentioning:

Kopi Roti

If you're looking for coffee with an Asian twist, try Kopi Roti's simple yet addictive kopi with their signature partner pastries: Kopi Bun, French Toast (my favorite is peanut butter), and Kaya Toast. Delicious and easy on the pocket too!
Tsoko-nut Batirol

If you want to have a hot drink with your kids, try Tsoko-nut Batirol for a Filipino treat. The familiar, grainy texture of the hot chocolate will surely be different from the other hot drinks you may be accustomed to, but it's definitely worth trying. Their bibingka and dinuguan with puto is a sure hit for anyone with an appetite for a filling merienda snack.

That's my son K, tasting bibingka for the first time, and loving it. :)

Yummy dinuguan (pig's blood stew) and puto! Terrific tandem!
